Suspenseful Yet Sweet

Katie and Noah’s story kicked off where their first book left off. It’s been a bit since I listened/read to the first one but instantly I was pulled back in and it felt as no time has passed. My heart kicking in my chest in suspense. This was intense both with the mystery of someone out for Noah as well as Katie and Noah’s relationship. It was hot and so sweet at the same time. I feel I’ve become addicted to these characters. I’m so excited and happy for these two. I can’t wait for Katie’s friend/Tyler’s sister Everleigh’s story!

True Love!!!

True Love, always wins!! This book jumps right into the action from where book one stopped. With everything going on and no ending in site, Katie and Noah must move on with their lives. When will everything fall into place so these two can live in peace? The twists of this book had me wanting to keep reading and also at times had my heart stopping. Loved every word written!! Can't wait for what Kennedy Fox comes up with next.

Katie and Noah Forever

I was so excited to receive the ARC for Holding You Close. I was on anxiously waiting for this book because I had to know what would happen after the unbelievable cliffhanger from book 1. This book was super cute, thrilling, and steamy. It was the perfect conclusion for Katie and Noah’s love story. Noah was the perfect book boyfriend! He was sweet, sexy, protective and would do anything to make Katie happy. Definitely a swoon worthy character. The chemistry between Noah and Katie was intense and they were just too cute sometimes. They had many obstacles to over come and the biggest threat was the target on Noah’s life. I’m glad Katie and Noah were strong enough to make it through and get their happily ever after. This also sets up the storyline for Everleigh and Archer, which I can't wait to read their story. I would definitely recommend this duet, if you love small town romance, ex-cons getting second chance at life and love mixed in with some suspenseful plot twists.

The happy ending we all needed for this couple!

The happy ending we all needed for this couple! After the epic cliffhanger in the previous book, I was dying to dive into this book to see what happened and these authors did NOT disappoint! Leaving off at the end of the last book, Noah is transported to the hospital after the accident, and Katie is left feeling both scared but also confused at who was behind things. As Noah recovers, both him and Katie work to compile evidence and information about not only his accident, but all the events that have happened since his release from prison. The twists and turns that come out that are a decade old is something I can only imagine happens in small towns, but it kept me on the edge of my seat trying to put the pieces together and figure out who is behind what. For me, this book really ended halfway through when everything is put out into the open and the people behind everything are held accountable, because the rest of the book is just Katie and Noah’s HEA and them moving on from everything that happened. Nonetheless, the book was just as epic as I anticipated, and we continue to get the quality storylines as well as the great writing from these authors. I can’t wait for Everleigh’s story – between the suspense and her explosive and outspoken personality, it’s going to be a wild duet! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Great conclusion

Even though this couple has had to go thru a lot, it brought them closer together. How this story plays out is so endearing. All their struggles made them strong. Noah’s relationship with her son is so special. Very good conclusion to Noah & Katie’s story.

I was eager to start reading “Holding You Close” because I was concerned about how things ended in the first part of this compelling and emotional duet. This book is full of surprises, most of which I never saw coming. I thought I knew who was trying to break up Noah and Katie, but I was only partially correct. Noah and Katie’s relationship has survived time, distance and town gossip. Noah paid for his actions and was glad Katie forgave him when he came home. He proved he was a new man who was ready to start over. Danger and secrets were swirling around their small town and it was hard to know who you could really trust. Noah never says no when someone needs help, but unfortunately he helped the wrong person and was caught up in a dangerous web of hatred and jealousy. Katie’s love and devotion for Noah got him through his ordeal and paved the way for the next part of their lives. Noah turned out to be one of the most romantic men I had ever encountered in the many romance novels I have read. His love for Katie was beautiful, heartfelt and pure. They had always been friends and now their love united them forever.

Noah & Katie’s fabulous conclusion. Picks up where book 1 leaves off. I love their dynamic. I love the growth of all the characters. This is a very well done second change, loved you forever kind of romance. It’s sweet. And funny. And hooooottttt. If you’re looking for a read with a solid plot, great growth, heattttt, and relatable characters, this so the story for you! Highly recommend
